Started on 6.2 and had some good runs at full speed over the flat water. Difficult to gybe as too much power in gusts and not enough in lulls. You could see the gusts coming across the water, but they were pretty savage at times and the wind was shifting around. Tried more downhaul and outhaul, but I was struggling to keep the sail under control so changed to 5.3. This was much better and I managed some better gybes. Still plenty of power to fly upwind. Water icy in short sleeved suit, but lovely sunshine kept it comfortable.

Pretty hard work and too gusty to relax, but an exciting session.
